Translation: We can make a better profit by paying factory workers in southern China 75¢ per hour and not worry about work place regulations.
(And as an added benefit, we can turn “those people”,union and non-union workers, against each for table scraps while maintaining our lifestyle and getting elected! Many voters can’t tell the difference between one union or another. Public sector unions provide services; they don’t manufacturer products. I think I’ll go have some tea.. )
